I stumbled upon pallet art by chance. I was driving home from a long day at work and as I turned into my neighborhood I noticed a nice looking pallet sitting next to a trash can (the next morning was trash day!). I immediately thought "I could do something with that!". I stopped the car, hopped out, and grabbed that pallet and put it on top of my car and drove slower than a turtle to get to my house. I can only imagine what I looked like to the neighbors. 🙂

That first pallet find was in the fall of 2015. At first I started to make things with pallet wood – chairs, clocks, planters, etc. After awhile I realized I enjoyed painting on the pallets more. Now, I am not a "painter" or an "artist" for that matter. I just enjoy creating something nice and pleasing to the eye out of something that was tossed out for trash. And, yes, finding the "perfect" pallet to use as a canvas is part of the fun!

I have a wife (Sara) and two sons (Ty & Easton) who I love and cherish. They fully support my "hobby" and I am grateful for that.
